Introduction:
Slurry pumps can be used to extract filtrate under high vacuum in a coal washery; can be used for handling combined bottom and fly ash in a thermal power station; can be used in series delivering copper tailings throgh pipelines; can be used to deliver iron sand slurry to dewatering cyclones; can be used for handling hot caustic slurry in an alumina plant.
Bearing assembly: a large diameter shaft with a short overhang minimises deflection and vibration. Heavy duty roller bearings are housed in a removeable bearing cartridge.
